With almost 2,000,000 square kilometres of land over five large islands, Indonesia is one of the world’s biggest archipelagos and a scenically diverse country. A stunning backdrop of natural landscapes – beaches, waterfalls, dense tropical forests, heritage architecture and UNESCO sites, volcanic mountains, rice fields, tea/coffee plantations. Many unspoiled areas make it simply breathtaking. Sleek designer villas, cafes and restaurants abound; from the modern, clean aesthetic to a more natural organic inspired feel.
The climate of Indonesia is almost entirely tropical. The dry season is April to October, while the wet season is November to March. Average temperatures remain fairly constant at 26°C – 28°C.
